P38A 95 DT brake bleeding (or rather lack of fluid)

Don't know if this will help, but when bleeding, I find it easier to pressurize from bottom up. I use a cheap oil can with a thumb pump and pump till fluid comes out top into reservoir with no air. Works a wonder on clutches. Might work on brakes.

    Help With Ignition Failure

I had a problem with the headlights. Fuse OK..light ok. It was a bad connection between the two posts on the fuse panel. Just fixed my lawn mower by spraying the ignition switch with electrical cleaner. Seems often its ground and sometimes tough to eliminate.

    Remote bypass Oil Filters

I've read a lot about these and they seem to be good for cleaning carbon from diesel engines. Anyone have real world experience with these? They are expensive so I don't want to spend money on something that's not a proven technology.

    Bypass oil filters ???

Been on this site for awhile but have not started a new thread. I'm interested In feedback about bypass oil filters. Done a lot of reading but as always would prefer someone's that "been there and done that". So any information or observations on these systems would be appreciated. Amsoil is one...

    Oil bypass filters

Anyone used or have experience with oil bypass remote filter systems like the Amsoil one? Claims include only having to change oil every 160,000km, longer engine life etc. Most that I've read agree that oil changes can definitely be extended and thus offers significantly reduced maintenance...

    Total off road virgin!!

I guess there should be a rule book for off-roading. 1) let people know where you're going and when you will be back. 2) be aware of the mechanical preparedness of your vehicle. including maps 3) carry common necessary spare parts...belts, etc. 4) carry extra fluids. 5) carry recovery gear...

    Winches

Everyone says you get what you paid for and that is absolutely correct. However I liken it to going to Princess auto and Buying 3 cheap pipe wrenches for what a brand name would cost for one. My reasoning is that I'm not earning my living with it so it cant be written off and I can return it if...

    Front wheel bearing

Had to chisel mine off....never saw such a mess. Bearings chewed up and unrecognizable. Was on my too do list. Next time it will become priority one. Parts are cheap and its an easy job... When the bearings aren't destroyed. Had the worst time even getting the wheel and brake drum off. Big...
