    snow

You can tell its snowing, all the landies that spend most of their time in either garage or p&p sites are out. I followed a trayback defender and passed a couple of bobtailed disco's on the way to work.

    Disco rebuild project

Some kind of rubber solution might be good, although might be a bit messy if you ever need to repair anything, and might cover any developing rust rather than let you see it so it can be sorted. Really good thread, appreciate the picture detail, for someone fairly new to this stuff its good to...

    13th jan day out plains?

Nice pics and Vids. Just hoping I can get somewhere near ready for the April trip. All being well if the house move goes ahead on the 25th as planned I will be able to get it somewhere into a condition where I can scratch it up. Oh, and its not a good trip unless something gets broken.

    Wanted: Discovery transport Rotherham

Hi all, gonna be moving house in a few weeks and I need to move the disco. Only got to go about 4 miles, but it's SORN and missing most of its panels, and is a little questionable on if it will start. Anyone close by have the means to transport, or know of any local companies that are not...

My baloney meter just went of the scale ....

Paintwork looks like it was done in a hurry, red paint looks like its been rubbed down but not sprayed. And why if he has had it for a year has he only just sent the V5 off to put it in his name if he's had it for a year.

    Serious arch rot!!

Took me about 10 minutes to remove each wing, its worth it because then at least you can make sure you get all the rot - then shultz or por15 over the new parts to stave off any rot on the new bits.

    300tdi wont run below 600rpm

Any foam or **** in the fuel lines? Some crap bio seems to froth under certain conditions. Guy had it at work with morrisons bio. Could be whipping it up and then taking time to settle again.

    300tdi boss kit

Some of the earlier disco 300tdi's use 29 splines, mine (P Reg) has 36, but i think there are some with 48 also. Best bet is probably to whip it off and take a look.

Some pics of my Disco :D

Hehe, I wish I could get mine dirty, sadly that is unlikely to happen anytime soon. List of jobs to do as long as your arm, but I can't do anything until I've moved house - which is still ongoing. I keep getting itchy finger over nice bits for it, but there aint much point until its undergone...

    P38 Donor

Anything is possible, provided you have the time, patience and money to do it. I'm not that familiar with the RR p38, but given the BMW engine, i would guess a lot of electrikery involved in ECU's etc which would probably be prohibitive. Maybe break it and buy something a little more complete

    worlds most dangerous

Some have been good, some are crap though. Greg Davies and Rhod Gilbert was good on the last series. I must say, some of the 4x4s are a bit poor, but i guess it's what they can hire for the trip

Some pics of my Disco :D

That's a lot of **** Sam, where do you put the beer :D I've been looking at designing some modular storage for mine, so it keeps relevant bits together and I can easily remove anything I don't need easily.

    air compressor

I bought a Clarke raider 100 litre from machine mart on one of their vat free days, was about 300 quid. 14cfm which is pretty good. Buy the best you can afford, you'll end up using it more than you think once you have it, and it will **** you off either waiting for it to catch up, or not being...
