Hiya I already have a 2" terranirma big bore expedition lift on my landy. But I want to lift it another 2" with spring spacers. Do I need to buy new dampers or can I still use my +2" ones. Also do I need. 6 degree castor correct radius arms and trailing link arms. Advise please.
Happy mud plugging

your 2" springs will probably top out if you keep the 2" shocks. I think ive just worked that out right.

If you lift it another couple inches the shock is in effect using some of its upward travel length because of the spacers. So obviously there will be less upward movement when your axle moves down.

Radius and trailing arms are advised but i know people who havent changed them.

Ive just changed my radius and trailing arms for a 2" lift.

A 4" spring lift will have alot of side affects, caster, props e.t.c will all be affected and there will be alot of extras that will need to be done. If its for looks then get a body lift, if it's for off roading them you will need to drop your shock mounts or get longer shocks as you won't have any extra travel, infanct it will lessen your articulation as your using more shock at its normal ride height. Add to this the need for different props, caster correction, cranked arms, extended brake lines and repositioning of the load valve and I dare say a few other bits you need to ask is it worth it?

you might aswell do a 4" whilst your at it, ive heard you can just bolt two lift blocks together. your brake pipes and props and shocks will be fine. post pics btw

Cheers everyone.
might not bother sounds expensive and quite a bit of work. Already got the +2" so will just stay with that. Went to Foxham the weekend and my tyres spent the whole time trashing my arches. Might just chop the arches out and see how I get on next month.

Cheers everyone.

What size tyres are you running?

If there that stuck in the arch then get some bump stops. or bigger ones.

If there hitting the outer arch at the front or rear then yes skim a little off them if you want. Its been done before.

My 31's are fine with my 2" lift, they did catch the very bottom of the rear arch but I just cut that off... if your running bigger than 31's then a body lift is needed really...

I have got a set of 33"x12.5". Body lift is in order then. can I just buy spacers for the body to just bolt straight on ? Or is it a fabricating job?

Landy body is easy to lift compared to Johny mud slingers mum that's one fat bitch. I just lifted the arches in the end. Much cheaper and a lot less hassle

iv got the +2" terranirma expedition lift and had 36" tyres with no problems  so i cant see why you need a body lift
