I believe that Optikool is the glass itself, not a coating, so you should find the same name on the door glass as well. Looks like a previous owner may have had a tint film applied. Peter

We've used Chevron Supreme DIESEL oil in all of our V8's, the short engine I fitted in 2009 has nearly 100k miles on it and the camshaft was already used. Got a 4.6 RR P38 as well now, and that is also on the same or similar oil, 10W-40 and rated for diesel engines. Genuine filters used. Peter

Yes, and the Thor CPS fitting was available, don't know about the Gems version. EIQ100020 is the Thor version housing. Just be sure of getting the later cross-bolted block. Plenty of sellers showing the Thor housing in stock. Peter

Stuck with one of the inner self tappers well rusted into the Lokut in the chassis. Went to take the wheel off for better access and found that I seem to have 22mm hex wheelnuts rather than 27mm. This would make the wheels Range Rover Sport or L322 original fitting? Picture below. Peter

The HP24 box is much larger and heavier than the R380, and with the transfer box as well it is a big lump to play with. Find an auto box specialist who works on ZF stuff if you can't find a Landie independent. Peter
