I think a lot depends on the underwriters. I'm with Lancaster (well Alianz via them) and with all my mods declared they were happy, but there was a lot of to-ing and fro-ing before a quote was forthcoming. To be fair, Adrian Flux were probably more savvy about common mods so I didn't have to...

If you have standard LR fitment immobiliser, this crowd may be a source for a second fob. Never tried them, and they seem pretty expensive, but not found a sensible alternative to be honest.

I use Anquet Outdoor Map Navigator on a Google Nexus 7. Great for laning, and I can plot TROs and routes as overlays onto the maps.
