Finally got round to fitting the chequer plate onto the drivers side wing!

Oh and bought an impact driver and ten its for £2 down the boot sale for when I come to take the hinges off the bulk head

Fastened the steering wheel fascia (bit that has the airbag attached to it) to the steering wheel. Feck knows how long it's been loose, but I dislodged it last night whilst chammying the interior. Proper shat meself when I realised the airbag was bolted to it and not the wheel

Diff.

Drove it, filled it up and dumped stuff to help out some folk, found the reason for the chipped paint on the nearside light protector was caused by someone I know who admitted the massive dink down the side of their car was them misjudging a bit! Landy 1 Picasso 0..

Did some light off roading with mountain rescue (I should've got some photos, but as ever I forgot). But what I did get a photo of is air ambulance leaving the scene after a search turned into litter picking.

That disco didn't have much paint left on the passenger side after parking there though.

I drew the short straw and had to take the pile of damp old carpets to the tip, now my car stinks. And as I was going there I also had to take about 50 litres of old oil too, so the back is covered in that too. Brilliant. Why it wasnt taken in the series 3 which doesn't have carpet in it to fill with crap I don't know. Oh it was also full of tractor parts to degrease at work on my way past... but they were nice and clean on the way back so I cant complain there.

Also after getting quite frustrated with the squeaking from the engine bay I had to replace the alternator belt. Problemo solved.

I also have an antenna coming for the CB too. (dam ebay and my bank being linked so easily sometimes :L)

Oh I took a wire brush to the rear arches too... I need some more metal back there now :/

Took the dash out to have a look at the dodgy wipers. Found so much dust.. so much... crazy amounts. Did I mention it was dusty?

Then looked at the previous owners wiring... jebus.. how has the thing not caught fire. They have literally twisted bare wire together for starter motor wires. The crimp connections are really bad, like a bad attempt at using pliers.

So started the process of cleaning it all up. It's quite fun ;)

Had my bulkhead repaired! but now its raining and cant get the roof of to replace the cappings an put the new seals in :( just waiting for a new tyre an then im back on the road. can not wait! just in time for all this rainy weather :D
