Update on the rear springs, i tried to order from paddocks today but couldn't work out which springs was Britpart or GME and still waiting for an email from them but have now decided to buy from Jones springs but they have an 8 week lead time so at least i will be busy over Christmas :D

Yeah i've had them before when paddocks started selling them and they just didn't last :(

Yeah the ones fitted are GME parabolics ok i could just have a weak pair but don't want to chance them again and with the extra weight i'm carrying think multileaf would be better.

Yeah back in the day when i first got into landy's i first used BP ones which were shocking then moved over to GME parabolics which were good then moved away from series for a few years then moved back and used GME paras again but the rears seemed to sag right from the off but then decided to...

Hi guys I will be buying a set of rear 88" multileaf springs for my 2a in a couple of weeks, are GME springs still good :)

Yeah i often wonder if its worth making solid ally or steel ones as i hate the look of a series without rear mudflaps on.

Think i would upgrade the whole system to another make disc conversion as i see it being a real problem if you are struggling now, if it helps i fitted a full Zeus kit early this yeah and really happy with it :)

Back now set off for home yesterday at 8am and walked through the door at 5:40pm and other than stopping for fuel i just kept going to save time :(

Chears, yeah some of the roads it was taking me you wouldn't of got down with a caravan it even took me down 2 green lanes as well :(

Got there in the end, satnav took me all over Cornwall to get to the site due to the A30 being moved, the road teking you to the site off A30 was closed :(

I will let you all know when i complete my 700 mile round trip to Cornwall and back from next Friday, can't wait :D
