Hi All,
I'm getting quotes for a Prins LPG conversion.
The first one mentions a toroidal tank, but I've heard that there is also an option to fit tanks alongside the chassis rails.
Anybody heard of this?
Is it a good idea?
Right, if I understand, the diffs are interchangeable physically, but the crown wheel and pinions run differently?
What does this mean? Is this a bad thing?
Cheers.
Oh Boy, what next? :)
So, I have to be very careful how I place the order with Ashcroft; if I ask for two 4 pin diffs, I might get two rear ones?
If I ask for one front and on rear, I will get a 4 and a 2 pin!
I'll think on ....
Hi All,
Just looking for some confirmation, please.
All searching says that the P38 with 4 wheel traction control has a 4 pin front diff.
Is this correct?
Ashcroft think 2 pin.
Cheers.
Hi All,
This will be my third tank in 2 years.
Last one failed in the same place as this one - where the small pipe from the radiator connects.
I've done a quick search looking for genuine Landrover but only found Britpart so far (don't know what make this one is -- anything goes in Dubai!)...
A touch before 12 o´clock .....
Why do you need to top up the coolant?
The system should not use any. (or, very very little over time).
BTW, you know that the gauge is weighted to stay in the middle until it overheats, then rushes across to the red?
Sounds like an interesting project.
But, SLOW DOWN a bit!:)
The cable and free software is a very good solution for the eas, but have you thought about buying full diagnostics like Nanocom?
It might look pricey now but could pay for itself quite quickly as you go down the Rover path...
