Hi Mate, More than likely the heat shield on the manifold, harmless but annoying, mine was doing it, lift the bonnet and see if it's wobbly, at certain revs it rattles.

Gents, I'm about to step into the world of the TD5. I'm well versed on the 300tdi, this is new territory. I'm looking at a 54 plate, chassis looks decent, had a new clutch and starter motor and only advisory on MOT is brake pipe corrosion to monitor. No history with it, mileage is over 200...

The drivers seat is fully adjustable electrically so height is easily changed however I have mine low as possible because I'm tall.

Hi Mate, Just remove that particular wore, they won't activate without a serious 25amp blast from an inertia sensor, leave the bags in, saves a mission.

I do about 60 nicely, I have a boost pin, boost ring, de cat and had the egr blanked, I use AT tyres. If you're mostly road, then the disco transfer box is ideal, if you're cash rich get a Roma Drive!

Find an ignition live, attach a relay amd fuse to that with your new switch, don't go direct to the battery Mate.

Yeah I think that's the route I'll go, I'll post what I come up with.
