2010 Defender 2.4 TDCI Rattle

We have a 2010 2.4 TDCI Defender with a rattle coming from the engine area between 1500 rpm and 2000 rpm. we have replaced the turbo as the compressor wheel had a bit of play in it but there is still a rattling noise. we are thinking it could have something to do with the timing chain.

Any advice would be appreciated

Hi Mate,
More than likely the heat shield on the manifold, harmless but annoying, mine was doing it, lift the bonnet and see if it's wobbly, at certain revs it rattles.
