I would just like to say

1 company on IOW done kits to make a disco chassis into a forward control. Cost too much but looked good.even asked for specs so I could bend my own cage but no joy. All the banhams are mini/metro based motors . And as they use all the car you keep the reg.

Series 3 Doriz LR illness 109”

Not read the faff… all I know some black plates can’t be read by anpr and some other cameras. So you could get stoped more for checks or if motor is stolen they can’t use the cameras to track.

Disco 1 Plastic spare wheel cover - help please

You need 3 nuts to hold the wheel to the back door, then another 3 to hold that plastic cover on like lock nuts. You can’t use alloy wheel nuts with the shiny caps as the threads of the wheel carrier need to go all the way through the nuts Also this cover may not work on all ally wheel

It’s about 8-10mm diameter unsure of the length. There is a dome with a point on the 1 end. Iv not had to replace that clip on my motor & done 3 cyclinders in my long term ownership. to replace this clip it would be done in the hole for the cylinder..your up for a challenge

300TDI, clutch slave cyl, pushrod. dimensions

Gently take the cylinder out and the push rod should stop in place. (Hold it with some long nose pliers if your worried) Make sure the plunger on the cylinder is all the way back when bleeding. Bleed before attaching to gearbox. Slide back onto push rod

Also your measurements… where did you take these from? I think you have mounted the engine too far forward. Engine should be back from the steering box. Have a look at a disco/late range these are both the same.

Don’t forget if you use the above striker a spacer will be needed. You can also get shims. Earlier striker from 90 door Split 90 door. Pros & cons … 90 doors have wind up full windows 90 split door have slide windows but are very simple.
