Land Rover only recommends the detachable tow bar for occasional light towing as the movement of the tow bar in the socket frets the metal away. Much better with the fixed option. Also if the car is automatic and it’s not towed before, the ecu needs instruction that it is towing otherwise it...

Why don’t you charge both batteries and see if the stop start returns. If it does then you’ll know it’s one or the other battery, or buy a diagnostic and read the fault

Could be your main battery ain’t upto repeated starts, the aux one only runs the accessories that are switched on, but the main one starts the car

It’s pretty much the same as b+q, For timber to have any chance of remaining straight it needs storing correctly, that means led flat and properly supported. Almost all of the diy chains stand there timber on end in upright racking because it takes up less floor space.

The clue is b+q, you should buy from a proper timber merchant

Well I spoke with Dave Ashcroft today and apparently a 1:6 transfer box will only lower ratio’s in hi range, and it’s low range I want lowering. So it looks like crown wheels are the way to go, but that lowers high and low range.

16” wheels is the way forward, oh!! And backwards ha ha
