    Usual abs hdc suspension fault

I am well - stonkingly busy - and having 2 wonderful kids takes up a lot of my (and my wifes) time. I so try to get on line as often as possible, but with work, the kids and fixing the cars - I seldom find the time to be as visible as I would like to be. But we are well. How's things on your...

    Usual abs hdc suspension fault

A common issue to prevent comms on the CAN is the headlamp levelling unit (Pax side A piller - white box about the size of a packet of cigs) these can get wet and go bandy. The CAN uses a high signal and a low signal to pass messages along - when one of the units on the can goes south it can...

    ULEZ Compliant Classic anyone?

I did indeed - it was registered on the V5C as Dual Fuel as well but despite my protest that it burns cleaner and LPG was (at the time) exempt - because it was 'originally' a petrol powered gas guzzler I had to pay the charge. I also had an issue with a 200tdi powered Ninety - the DfT ULEZ...

    Possible lcm I donno

Unlikely the LCM - the LCM holds a copy of vehicle data like mileage and coding information etc as a backup to the instrument pack...but other than that all it does is turn lights on and off, get wet then cause all sorts of lighting faults....but it wouldn't be the cause of issues with the door...

    Fuel consumption efi 3.9 RangeRoverClassic

My '93 K Plate Vogue on LPG would return a solid 13.5mpg all day everyday no matter what you did with it....cruise, tow, mud plugging....always 13.5mpg without fail....it was great as you always knew when you would run out of gas....it was always at the same mileage...

    L322 Engine ECU query

The EWS ECU (Immobiliser) checks the key code is correct and if it matches, it sends an 'OK to Start' signal to the Engine ECU. The Engine ECU then checks the EWS ECU to make sure it is the the right checksum value and proceeds to start the car... If you swap the ECU, you have to get it matched...

    Abs light not connector

As mentioned above, Yellow connections are usually reserved for the SRS system. If the ABS light is still on after going past 5mph, then diagnostics are required as you state. If you put your location in (only roughly) then other members who have diagnostics who live nearby may be willing to help!

P38A Flat battery, the problems have started...

We are well, after having to move house twice in the last year or so - first time moving out to the west country for work, and then again when the MoD wanted their house back (review of their married quarter estate and our house was one due to be handed back) we have hopefully settled for a long...

L322 Help! Self Level Inactive, Air Suspension Inactive, 35mph max, no lights on control switch

All lights out is a Hard Fault and only diagnostics will help you see the fault and clear it out once rectified...as mentioned, it could be the fact the undercarriage was left dangling, they don't like that at times....sometimes you can get away with it other times they throw a hissy fit...

P38A Flat battery, the problems have started...

Also, correct me if I am wrong - the Diesels (espeacially early ones) would have a drain caused by the OBD port....later ones where fitted with a diode...trouble is can't remember which wire....but it was soldered in pretty close to the socket on the loom. It should cause a drain overnight, but...
