On a 00 P38
I disconnected and cleaned both yellow connectors, took a lead off the battery but it's still on. I guess there's a fault somewhere then but what.
Don't have a decent code reader and 2 folk i asked are a 50 call out and could be up to 150 just to tell me, what now.

ABS does self checks so if the light is still on then there's still a problem. It doesn't go off until around 5mph.
SRS also does self checks and goes out of the problem is resolved. There are 2 bulbs behind the dash, if one blows, the other will light up

Yes I know how but wanted get an idea why they're on good code reader which so far nobody has mentioned.

As mentioned above, Yellow connections are usually reserved for the SRS system. If the ABS light is still on after going past 5mph, then diagnostics are required as you state.

If you put your location in (only roughly) then other members who have diagnostics who live nearby may be willing to help!

That's right, I'm tempted to get a good code reader but it'll need to cover different cars and quite in depth as I get bored easy.
But hoping that if I can get use out the RR I can gel with it and keep it. And that's only going to happen if or when I get it on the road.
I'm in South Glasgow.

And if you fix that issue, say from the bulb making a bad contact with the board, it can require Nanocom to clear the fault before it goes out again.
