That would be fantastic if you could crazymac, from your photo it looks like they clamp onto the outrigger if you could supply a photo of the kit I can get some made although I'm wondering how strong the clamp system is so may adapt it a little to be bolted but time will tell. Thanks

Just a quick thought could it be a calcium build up? if any moisture can get in and the heat from the bulb evaporates it it could in theory leave behind any calcium on the lens etc. Try using kettle descaler on a cotton bud or better still if you can remove the light unit lay it on a cloth glass...

That sound every fair to me, I don't know why this can't be incorporated into the MOT check, if you fit a new/second hand clock and the mileage is obviously different why doesnt the MOT data pick it up and make a log of it then people can see on the MOT history and ask questions before buying it.
