    2002 Td5 Defender won't start

Hi All Got a 2002 Defender TD5 that won't start, when the ignition is switched on, a yellow relay under the drivers seat buzzes and the temp gauge was fluctuating. Anyone know what's wrong/seen this before and what fixes it? Thanks Richie

Hi there, I'm 46 and got my first Defender 5 weeks ago. Loving driving it, look for excuses to go out in it. Not sure if the novelty ever wears off. Just looking forward to some snow now!

    Defender Door Locks

Hi All, Owned a Defender 90 TD5 truck cab for two weeks and loving it. A guy at work joked that you could open the door lock with an ice lolly stick, I tried and its true. Will be buying new door locks, does anyone know of any supplier that sells better quality replacements? Thanks Rich

    Sacrificial Anodes

I would love to have another 90, but it took me 21 years to persuade the wife I needed one, doubt she'd agree to a second one!

    Sacrificial Anodes

I work as a design engineer in oil and gas, specialising in subsea equipment. Bought a 90 truck cab last last week and love it. I had a thought that the subsea equipment I design uses sacrificial zinc anodes which reduce the rate of corrosion of carbon steel and stainless steel structures...

    Hi from new Defender owner

Hi all, I bought a defender 90 truck cab on Saturday an am loving it. I managed 33mpg, £50 gave me 270 miles. Only one concern, the transfer box is losing oil. There's a plate with 8 bolts holding it on, oil is dripping from the rear four screws. Is this easy to fix? Rich

    reducing electric fan speeds

Hello KRSMAYO, If you put a 0.6 ohm resistor in series with the fan motor you have, the current will drop to approx. 6.66 amps from 10 amps you stated. The motors resistance is 1.2 ohms if the figures you stated are correct. To slow the speed to 3/4 the existing speed, you need to increase...

    200TDI, 300TDI or TD5

Hi, I'm looking for advice on which LR Defender to buy for use in a tree surgery business. Got about £5000 to spend, but will buy a winch if not fitted to LR bought. I heard that the 200/300TDIs are more often stolen, but are preferred as they are more robust than the TD5. Any advice is...
