hi folks , needing help to identify what i believe is a vacuum /breather hose that has been gadjed up in my 2001 freelander 2.5 v6..it is situated under the engine cover ,just to the left of the oil filling cap ,there are 2 of them ,the furthest left is the one in question ,it has a wee white...

any ideas how to fix a tailgate window gremlin? fitted after market cables and i think they are maybe either a bit long or a bit short .resulting in the window working sometimes from the switch on the dash ,sometimes the car wont start possibly imobilised ,had a well known garage look at it...
