No Its a 1999 td5 just don't want to break the plastic bits. Still carnt see how they twist to much pressure on them. But I can see they need to move to line up to pull out. Yeh I was kind of thinkin wd40.Think I will need pliers on them.

thanks for your reply but I need to twist plastic parts first afraid to break them. especially the little plastic bits that hang off to line up to the holes.:confused:

No you seem to know your stuff should I need any tools pliers?

Can not see any clips on my 1999 disco Is It a job for pliers to twist loose. No laughing Its a simple question. Only there is a lot of pressure on the plastic parts.:confused:

. They need to come out I am changing an air con pipe need to remove grill.

can anyone tell me how to remove the headlights on a disco td5. I have looked at the plastic that needs twisting. How is this done without upsetting the settings of the lights. As I don't want to have to reset them. but don't see how It is done as they are under pressure.

Can anyone explain please I have looked at where you adjust them. And the plastic parts that need twisting how do you do this while they under pressure. Dont want to have to reset them on replacing them

Can anyone tell me how to remove headlights on a disco td5. I looked at the plastic parts behind the light where you adjust the lights. Can not see how you would twist them without taking the pressure off and that would mean re setting them after. Manual don't explain It.

I have the same problem I have bought a new pipe the one that goes through p clip. I have learned that I need to take the grill off. I think to do that I need to take lights out. The dealer wanted£370 for the job. The same dealer that recently serviced and re gassed it. The first time I used It...

Hello every one owned my disco 2 for about 4 or 5 months new to land rovers but eager. Worked hard on beast all ready always wanted one. Hope to change air con pipe the week end.

Just thought I would mention the dealer I bought the car off was supposed to service the beast. Yeah right that's why I had to buy a chain tool to get the fuel filter off that looked like it had never been changed. Also I changed both oil filters and the air filter. I know the car has new oil...
