Can not see any clips on my 1999 disco Is It a job for pliers to twist loose. No laughing Its a simple question. Only there is a lot of pressure on the plastic parts.:confused:
 
That's why i said "if u still have it" in the other thread... cos most of the people doesnt put them back.... if u dont see them it means they are not there as on the most old disco 2's. I admit that maybe my english is not the best.

Then you are looking in the wrong place.

No tools at all required. Pull at the top left of the headlight gently but firmly until the ball and socket lets go, then top right right then at the bottom.

Once you've got them off you'll see what it's all about.

thanks for your reply but I need to twist plastic parts first afraid to break them. especially the little plastic bits that hang off to line up to the holes.:confused:
 
that sounds like a D1 300TDi.:confused:

they rotate, but a dose of WD40 or similar helps.

No Its a 1999 td5 just don't want to break the plastic bits. Still carnt see how they twist to much pressure on them. But I can see they need to move to line up to pull out. Yeh I was kind of thinkin wd40.Think I will need pliers on them.
