    ok, so to disarm it is the left switch? Just once? As it is still going of having pressed left button, unlocked and tried to start the car. Sorry if I am being incredibly dense here.

    Thats great thanks. I think it could be the bonnet as the gap is far too big but i cant seem to get it to close properly. Adjusted the bonnet bump stop to no avail. Is it still armed if it honks when i lock it?
