I have to admit that, like présalé lamb, (delish if you can afford it) the idea of feeding a bird on Paxo for a while, then cooking it and eating it, might be interesting.
I wonder if they would eat it though?

Chickens love eating herbs so I bet thay would eat curry powder mixed with grain , bit like a red factor canary just a yellow bird but you feed it with red pepper and you get a red bird

I'll start them on Bombay Mix and work up to chillies and hotter spices. They'll need a daily ration of lager too.

Evening all, ive been a tad busy to spend some time on here lately. One of the lads tonight went to launch his boat..as he was
going down the slipway I noticed the pin was out the towbar & shouted """The Pi"........ oh well, by then the boat with trailer
decided it wanted to go without its skipper & detached itself from the manitou

It shot down the slip 40ft then 10ft
from the water it banked left & hit a concrete block, smashed the back of it & put a big hole in it.

We've fixed alot worse
but he sees the funny side now.

Eye has just re wotched the titan sub telly program on bbc eye player. The company were filming their activities fer history and advertising. So yer get to see the mistakes like choosing to only fit 4 of 18 bolts to hold the end on. End came oft just assit came out the water. Also see their reaction to the final bang. Many short cuts made. Like making a new center toob and assuming it were ok assit were stronger than the last one. Instead ov testing in stages at different depths again.

Flipping hot here again today.
Pool up to 25 and climbing.
Clearing the pine branches I had to cut off the trees that make the western boundary when I was putting up the fence two years ago.
I hoped they would have rotted down a bit but nope, they have just dried. So a long job ripping the tiny bits off, cutting the bigger bits off, lopping the still bigger bits off then cutting the rest up with the mini chainsaw so they can be barrowed up to the top of the land and later loaded into a mate's trailer to go off to the dump. You cannot burn anything ever in Frogland, and we don't burn pine in our logburner, as it is only recommended to burn hardwoods. There are 85 trees making up the boundary. Reckon it could take me a coupla days. right pain!
