while tutting cos he found cracks he'll have to fill!!! 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

In yet other "slow day news" it is sort of drizzling here at the mo, so I have hung washing out on the line which is just under the edge of the covered patio, because, (coughs) the "Metéo" for both the place just up the mountain from us, and the town down below us both say "No precipitation today".

Sometimes I feel like throwing the Lappy into the garden and shouting "Have a look for yourself, you stupid iriot!"

Just ordered the sump gasket and sump plug, (was feeling optimistic) for the Disco so I can get on and change the infamous oil pump bolt.

Didn't buy their RTV as the cost of that was about the same as the rest including postage!

Then realised DUUUUHHHHH I had forgotten to order the wretched bolt I am going to change!
As things are called funny names in Frogland I went onto tinternet to find the part number and LR Parts came up, from whom I have ordered before. They proudly announced "We now export to Europe" so I thought, why not?
bolt cost about £1.65, postage £21. :mad::mad::mad::eek::eek::eek:

so no thanks.
Put the part number into the Frog site, no probs but postage came to about €5 which I might not have had to pay if I had ordered it with the rest.

Lesson learned, "write out a flipping list! ".
now to find a cheaper supplier of RTV. (This sort of stuff is always about twice the price over here.)

And in other (lack of ) news.
No, I, nor anyone else, won the Euromillions.
With the 5 main numbers coming from between 20 and 35 who the heck stood a chance???

Fix! I cry! FIX!!!!!

(Now to check me numbers to see if I won anything at all!!) 🤣
So 250 million squids on Tuesday?
Could make all the nice peeps on this fred very comfortable

We were going to go to Lymington for the market today and then on to Highcliffe beach for the mutts; but the weather was promised to be orrible (fundyboldenlitenin) so we passed and did stuff at home instead.
So, logs chopped (gots me a new chopper, bright yellow anorl) cooker splashback installed, bike chain cleaned and lubed an other fings.
All worthy stuff I hear you say, 'cept all it did was rain some and now we have no scrummy olives...

First world problems.

1720 edit. Fundy!

10.8mm ov rain so far today. Most ov that in 15 minnits. The pipe oft me harvester was running like a hose pipe on gentle flow. Link pipes between me water butts ain't wide enuff to take the flow as they is only on gravity pressure ov the water. 1 to 2 ok. 2 to 3 is small so no 2 water butt over flowed. Did it while passing water to 3, 4 and 5. 3 and 4 already full. 5 was empty but filled wivvin 3 minutes. At least we now av rain and me garden has had about 20mm this mumf.

I and one of my lads bought tickets and the pact was/is if we win we keep half and donate the rest around the family and charity.
I mean. who really needs 250Mill?
On another note, if you are lucky enough to have your rubber boat land here and can buy a lottery ticket with the free money the government gave you for free you would be well pleased wouldn't you? Don't think it couldn't happen...look at this chap.
