Is this not a setup problem to do with the difference between LH & RH drive vehicles ?

Yes if the egr sticks open you will loose power. I would try the maf first and blank off the egr next, I wouldnt fit a new egr.

Those marks on the number plate could easily be double sided tape use to stick the plate on showing through the backing.

You might try this first

You could always pop the cover off the other side so you can copy it.

Collected and fitted my new power steer pipe to the freelander, topped up the fluid and bled the air out, all back to normal again now. Happy days.

I know youve already been there but the cam sensor is only used to set up the timing on startup, but not used after that whilst its running. May be worth checking the wiring for continuity to the ecu from the sensor plug with the ecu disconnected. Just changed cam sensor in mine for non -...

Check the info with the head unit, some times you will find there is a small screw head at the back that needs to be adjusted to tune the antenna in to the head unit. The overall length of the antenna & cable can affect reception, and varies between manufacturers.

Power steer pipe burst at LHS of rack ( rusted through at the 90 degree bend ), spent a couple of hours dodging the rain and removing the pipe. Just got to wait for the replacement pipe and refit at the end of the week.

Re check all the vac pipes for connection & condition.

Had a knock a few years ago couldnt find any play anywhere, passed its NCT, turned out to be the top shock mount. Changed the mount problem solved, even unloaded there was no discernable play in the mount. Also of note part from L/R was cheaper than anywhere else ............

On the figures I got over a 6 month period doing the same daily commute and logging the mileage & fuel figures it averaged out at 3.0 mpg on 50 miles each way ( 500 miles a week ) topping up at the same fuel station each time. Maybe the difference is in driving style or actual route driven, but...

Must be honest mines 2wd too for the last 4 yrs, because it does more mpg and has never been off road whilst I've had it. I wouldn't move to another vehicle as I find most too difficult to get in and out of now, however the Freelander being a higher seat height is easy to to get in and out of...

But both front doors lock from the external passenger side door lock ? or are you locking the drivers door manually first If both doors lock from the passenger door that means that electrically both lock mechanisms are working. If so sounds like a setup problem in the ecu

Have you tried pressing the lock button twice to see if it will lock the fronts then ? Do the front doors lock on the internal button inside the car ?

Does it lock the rest of the doors ? Has this just started happening ? or has it always done it ? More info is helpful ........

Looking on the laptop in fullscreen @48 secs if you look closely there is evidence that the right rear is spinning via the disturbance of the plants around the rear RHS, before the LHS rear starts to turn slowly.
