    Rear door lock?

I've been looking to do the same, but my doors are a little newer. You should be able to replace the barrels with a full set, all keyed alike. I've seen a few vendors carrying different sets (3 barrels, 5 barrels, 2 barrels). Do a quick search through your favourite vendor. I had a thought...

what paint code is this blue? 1997 90

Same as the NAS defender blue... Arles Blue.

    defender aap sensor

Does that connector "T" off the MAF loom? If so, it's the correct wire, but wrong plug. I believe you'd need something like this: Econoseal 3-Way Female Connector | Automotive Connectors | Simtek (Uk) Ltd The existing connector may be for a 4-wire AAP. How many wires go to it?

    defender aap sensor

Looks like the plug is zip-tied to the wire under your MAF. It will use a default value and will run. Maybe not the most optimal all the time.

TD5 Defender interior light/fuse smoke help!

There's a header behind the dash, above the fuse panel. Check that, and all your grounds. I'd also look through the wiring diagrams, for where the light circuit meets the fuse panel. I'll see if I can dig up something from the diagrams.

Td5 tank on v8 can it be done? 90

Or a US spec , in tank pump might fit (maybe even a disco I). All US spec rovers are petrol. I only imagine the float would need some tweaking on the disco pump. Probably cheaper to do a pickup and inline pump, though.

    Gearbox oil change Td5

Can you have friends or family soak the filler plug with some form of "nut blaster" until you return? Also a long pipe or large box end spanner on the end of a ratchet could help as a breaker bar. Mine was a bear to remove, until I added the spanner to the ratchet for more leverage. Also...

Defender TD5 Spare socket behind headlight

No apologies necessary. I just had a quick look at mine, and that's the only other standard piece in that area. Plugs for headlamps, leveler, washer pumps, and alarm. Wish the harness came with a couple extra plugs for aux lamps! ;)

    new old land rover fan

Thanks all! Colorado is a lovely part of the country... I fell in love with it when I was a young kid. Family camping trips around the US and Canada. It was, by far my favorite place. Now with a family of my own... It's a dream come true. Excellent 4wd trails. Great Landy club...

    new old land rover fan

Greetings, wanted to stop by to introduce myself... Been lurking and reading quite a bit. I've been a Land Rover fan for many years now. Finally been able to get the one of my dreams... 110 td5. I'm in Colorado, US; and while there aren't many 110s (let alone TD5s), I've found this site...

TD5 Volumetric Alarm Sensor not working?

Glad you got it sorted! Here's the link to nanocom... https://blackbox-solutions.com/shop/ If you like to tinker and will keep the td5 for a while (and want to save on shop fees), it's a good investment. Pricey, yes; but it's saved me a lot in diagnosing errors. Have you introduced...

Clutch kit for 2000 td5 and flywheel

Does anyone know the part number for a Td5 spigot bearing? I haven't been able to find it. Sorry for the hijack. I also agree.. get the valeo clutch kit.

TD5 Volumetric Alarm Sensor not working?

Get a nanocom and see if the sensor is enabled. Or find someone who has one, and see if they'll take a look. Oh and congrats on the new rover! The Td5 is fun.

    Transfer gear box

If you have a larger box end spanner, you can put it around the end of the ratchet for increased leverage. I can snap a pic if the above don't make sense. Works a treat if toy don't have a large breaker bar or pipe.

What he said.... Does your td5 have a factory alarm?

Electrical problem - suddenly lost speedo, fuel, indicators.

Could be a ground issue. Had a similar problem, with respect to signals, when I took delivery of mine. Turned out, the lazy bugger cut a ground on the rear harness. Also, my fuel and speedo weren't working. The fuel gauge is wired through the speedo, from the pump. Speedo was bad... After...

Stuck Torx gearbox filler plug TD5

Had that issue at first, but then cleaned out the torx for a better fit. It had a bunch of gunk in it. You could replace the torx bolt with one from an LT trans, I believe... Best to double check that fact for accuracy, though.

    TD5 Rear seat conversion

My old NAS spec '94 90 had a rear bench that fit between the wheel boxes. It was hard to get into. Very hard particularly when carrying gear. I believe there are some other options as well (exmoor lock-n-stows, puma folding, come to mind). Most would say do a search. :)

Speedo not working on Def 90 td5

Is your fuel gauge also not working? Do your instrument lights work? First thing I'd do is check the fuse. Then clean your ground points... There's a main ground header under the bonnet, next to the overflow tank. I believe it's gray. Next I'd check to see if the speedo is getting...

Speedo not working on Def 90 td5

Is your mileage incrementing, but the speedo not showing how fast you are going? Or is the whole thing dead?
