Looking at these on some refurbished rims but now need the tyres. Are the 7.50R16 which have a chunky thread the same as 7.50 80 16 which on some pictures look more like car road tyres? the 80 16 are cheaper (£91 fitted on ATS website) but the 7.50R16 are over £100 and up to silly numbers...

Bugger, wish I hadn't of had it shot blasted now. They aren't bolts and I can't see it being easy to split them as one side had a rounded head and the other is a bit flatter (the tyre side), similar to the rivets on the bonnet but bigger and more heavy duty. Do both types need a inner tube?

Sorry, didn't read the SU part of the post so ignore any reference to air flow meters. Have you check the routing of the new cable to see if its catching and has a smooth routing?

What colour are the spark plugs? Whip one out to get a good idea if its running rich. Also the AFM's tend to give up, run rich splutter then dies over a few miles so it may be that - replaced a few on the TVR. Does it kick out a load of carbon every now and again?

Finish looks really good for painting by hand. Got mine to do and I'll be pleased if it comes out like that. Looks a similar colour to the paint I have too - mines pageant blue. Is 5 litres of cellulose and thinners enough? FFG

Do you have overdrive? If my lever isn't fully up I get no drive at all-if the lever is knocked down and drops very slightly I engage gear but nothing happens. It happened a few times when I was out and it was annoying. Found the cure by accident.

I've tried cheap LED's and they are cheap for a reason, ie they are rubbish. The one's i've used in the TVR's and Landy are around £15-18 each and have lasted well. They have also fitted with no issue. I've just put some rear indicator bulbs in the TVR, as the lights are way brighter than...

Got other cars so don't tend to drive the Landy (or TVR's) in the snow so not an issue.

That was scary to watch. I wouldn't attempt that in mine.

I fitted LED rear light/stop combination (80w) at around £16 a bulb but used them also on the TVR and they are 1) bright and 2) come on a tad quicker which improves safety - important in the TVR and Landy alike.
