Then spot the spindle loose. Replace that.
Then spot the wiper blade U/S replace that tomorrow.

No need to look at the passenger side it don’t have 1. Apply plenty of rainex Wednesday.

What more jobs will she give me before Wednesday.

Series 3 1983. I have been lining up my replacement YRM nearside footwell. It fits perfectly.
Only problem is that the bottom flange that it gets welded to is near rotted away or paper thin and will need chomping out,

Wiper blade did not have the correct end so off to the shops to swap. Then find out that most now have single fit ends. Search cheap blades & has fitting kit. Sorted

Check spares box. All there.
Fitted spare wheel.
Replaced & repacked the oils in their relevant locations.

Now waiting on the weather to see if we go truck cab or full canvas

Yep.
Will post plenty of photos of the trip/classic cars and the both series 1 80”.

Wow that’s a treck even in a modern car, is that your missis and niece in the list?
Not doing it in the Herald?

I see lots of potential entrants but not too many confirmed, but still a good turn out.
I see a couple of Cooper S on the list:).

Remind us all closer too the time, I am sad(happy) to say We don’t own a car that qualifies.

So you still have to drive it too:D twice.

SIL & mrs. It’s better in the LR as snow over the borders gives them the advantage.
Last time the petrol was freezing in the carb.
Move the air intake over the exhaust & a piece of cardboard resolves this.

Just got it back from Ashcrofts. Transfer box upgrade to 1.22 output as I do a lot of motorway driving (and oil seal/probably worn output shaft bush was blown). It's a real difference - I'm going to have to re-calibrate my hearing now 3rd gear high revving at 30pmh has gone. 70 May now be an option!

Ashcrofts also pointed out I'd had an older transfer box fitted in the past and not the type it should have for a '98 110. The reasons not to go back to the first garage I used just keep piling up as I slowly replace their work.....
