fitted a new brownchurch bull bar to the front so my cows dont knock of any more lights on it !
Tried to repair one of my break lights, then the fuse blew and stopped play. Don't have another fuse to hand, so I have no break lights instead of 1
I got told it was an earthing problem from someone who saw what they were doing, apparently when I had my lights on and pressed down on the breaks by right hand light (as you look at the back) went out completely. Anyone know where the problem may be?
Is it on the light its self or somewhere along the wiring loom
Getting a bit ****ed off with my 90 so far this week I have replaced 2 cv joints 1front stub axle 1 power steering pump
And now I need a new timing case as the pulley bearing is not available
At this rate I will be skint for Christmas
Look at it positive........... early presents
Lol that's one way to think of it
when the lights are off..
get a multi meter and test the live wire that goes to the bulb with the red probe for 12v dc 1st... and the black to earth, then if no voltage turn it to ohms and see if it shows any resistance, if it does remove the other break bulb/bulbs and try again, if it still shows a resistance there is probably a short
Cheers for that. Found out it was a loose bulb, but when I went and replaced the cover it went out, so did the front side light on that side. Now non of them come on, checked the fuse box and noticed the other side lights had a loose connection and were turning on and off when I move it, but still nothing for the right hand side. gone from having lights but no brake light, to no light at the rear... to no light at front and rear. What is going on!?
Had it working for 2 bloody seconds and now its fooked. Supposed to be towing a trailer load of staging tomz at 4:30 in the morning, thats not gonna happen now
Oh, and I tried a multi meter across the fuse terminals and there was nothing, so no power is reaching the fuse box by the looks of it
