Had the biggest bloody battle with one of the bolts holding the a frame balljoint forging to the a-frame in order to replace the balljoint. 2 hours of swearing, heating and gradually finding bigger hammers and bars to defeat it. Oh, and removing bits of the vehicle to improve access for the gradually more dramatic pursuaders!

This is my next job, was yours a salisbury axle or normal axle?
 
Fixed a problem with the brake-light to loom plug that was playing up and fitted some hi-line brake-lights. All tickety boo now.
 
Replaced some fuses that blew :D Got a load on order from ebay so used a 13a house plug one in place of a 5a for the time being ;)
 
Fitted new belts. Changed oil.

Fitted the monterey steering wheel again with the new boss.........and removed it again. I swear its snapped as I can bend it. Taking it back now. Had enough.
Went for a drive :)
 
Removed the wings and began to remove the dash in prep for the bulkhead repairs :) and tried to change the matrix in the RRC, broke one of the flaps in the process :( have up trying to repair it and have bought a new good one, screw it :p
 
fitted my noo CB Intex M.100 only 95mm by 35mm smallest on the market, Had to extend the coax cable cos it was 2ft short. got pics on me fone but it's sulking and won't give em back :mad:
 
Finally got it back on the road! Trouble is, the fecking MOT has ran out now! :lol:

Now booked in for Thurs. :behindsofa:
 
Checked diff fluids rear one needed a load in :eek: greased prop shaft all ready for road just need mi 3 yrs ncb bonus releasing so can insure it :D
 
Ordered it a new exhaust and speedo cable.

And won a metal lockable cubby box on ebay!

They can all get fitted along with changing the sump gasket, rocket cover gasket, fuel filter and oil filter on the weekend!
 
Took it in for mot one week late.
Top swivel bearing collapsed last week so it needed surgery before the inspection.
Results in
Headlamp alignment out and the fog lamp bulb gone,
Both done now got its new bill of health

Finaly got round to fitting the rubber seat box cover i got of the bay!


Hopefully keep some warmth in and draft out, ready fur the drive north this christmas!
