not done anything yet today bbbuuuuuttttttt..........

im charging a ****ty old battery ( me spare ) so i can leather the fook out of that one getting the ol 10j to fire while tinkering with the timing so when its ready i can put the good battery on and carry on instead of getting half way sorted then having to leave off for a few hours while i charge the fekker again

So how did you connect the wheel arch to the quarter panel in order to satisfy the tester?

the quarter panel turns in to make the front of the door pillar then returns again toward the rear.. the return had corroded away... the vertical outer part of the arch extends behind this return and is bolted to it..

i extended the side of the arch behind the rear panel and put a bend in it so it went behind the front of the door post bit.. drilled through the door pillar and plate and pop riveted it together...

they were happy with it this mornin and got my pass cert...

Got to take mine in for its pollution control test this month which we have to do each year here in France. I suppose I should clean the air filter out and put some anti smoke additive in.

Finished the raptor dash and pod install :)
Did notice that my radio/dvd players screen covers 2 of the gauges in the pod when its up :( - just have to keep the screen in!

Fitted the 'snow' cowl over the heater intake - looks very good and it will be a permanent feature - not just for when it snows :)

I bought silverlandy last November and although I check tyre pressure regularly I still have yet to do any inflating! I have deflated once since I bought her as the garage did 50psi all round but as yet, no inflation.

Thinking back to my old D1 I needed new alloys as they were pretty pants around the rims and inflating on a weekly basis before I offloaded her! :D

Welderised me door yesterday and very impressed with its new found rigidity and lack of general flappiness.....not quite so impressed with its self opening ability on left hand corners so reset the hinges today :)
