for the final coat im using a shults based hammerite product - leaves a rubbery finnish wich is quite good
the 1st coat there is a red paint like product.. but i forget what its called

looked out me bedroom window at me disco and said,
ah bless.

then noticed how it was covered in dried salt & fine sand..

jet wash out if its "nice" enough.

Took it for a run to watch me niece and one of her horses compete in their first 'proper' Hunter trial .. came third in the novice pairs! So chuffed for her ..

Then came home the scenic way .. ;)

Painting the winch plate today, and probably the bumper, re-locating the bumper mounted spots, tackling the winch gearbox (anyone know what grease or oil to use in a winch gearbox .. EP 80/90 oil good enough???) .. just hung the washing out for the missus, she's cooking lunch, and having a general fettle about at various smaller jobs. ;)

having failed to replace front transferbox seal cause the bastids sent me the wrong size I took one off a spare box complete with the housing it sits in that looked in better nick and stuck that on instead.......time will tell if tis any better

Kept tripping over some pikey bastid swearing amidst a tidal wave of tools burying the remains of a knackered 110. :p

Found another hole in me front dumb iron anorl  Gonna have to cut off what I assume is the steering damper bracket to weld it up....run out of time as I'm off to Cheltenham to pick up a car for the g/f.

Something else to add to the list of after work jobs this week

took the disco for the 4th consecutive off road session and nothing is broken and i havent been stuck on any outing,

i am worried, the next bog down or breakage is going to be ****ing huge:(:5bwilly_nilly: based on the law of averages its gonna fall off a cliff and burst into flames.

finished rebuilding the 110. removed the hands free kit. and a fook orf huge stack of redundant wiring, and half a bag of scotchlocks

Gave dash a bit of a cleanup, and now the stereo's fooked Keep saying protection?? have checked all the wiring 20 fooking times and still won't clear????? so must be internal short or summat??

Noo stereo to add to me shopping list then

finally finished suspension replacement all nice and yellow now :D ,the old ones were so nackerd new one lifted disco about 2" !! found a hugh tear in my air intake pipe, probably explains recent poor performance and poor mpg, fixed new TD5 Headlamps as they ha a cracck :( ohh and fixed rear set belt all in all productive day ImageUploadedByTapatalk1349631308.418629.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1349631321.144591.jpg
