Just got back from my MOT, which was passed, fortunately. Of interest re: discussions on Landyzone is the fact that I have taken off the EGR and have a stainless steel exhaust without a catalytic converter. Nobody said anything and no MOT faults were logged. It's a 2006 model year TD5. I have the relevant parts in a cupboard and could have re-fitted them had it been a fail point, but there is no need.
However the man said I could do with a new switch on the clutch master cylinder as the revs don't drop automatically when you press the clutch. That's not an MOT fail point so I'll tackle that at my leisure.
