Clutch biting point was getting lower and lower and have been struggling to get it in gear at times so I changed the clutch master cylinder. What a transformation! Biting point is now halfway up and all is well. Just hope that it lasts...

Didn't even need to bleed it :)

Looked at my Diff breather today and i do think its not blocked i then took my tweeters out of the trim and cleaned the connectors which made them both start working

next is to buy a Air Con re-gas kit from halfords

Replaced the NSR window regulator (I tried replacing the cables but never again..clearly beyond my basic skills!!). All items back up and running 100%. Awaiting for the next failure....hmmm..I wonder what it could be..

I fitted a Kenwood CD/Radio in place of the existing Cassette/Radio unit :mil23: It was going without a hitch having first fabricated two unit removal tools from a wire coat hanger resulting in triumphant removal...then discovering that the aerial was some daft bleddin' k 'banjo' fitting that required a second visit to Halfords for a suitable adaptor.
Nonetheless for that, job done...Trance music sampled at a suitable volume and one happy bunny at the wheel. Still have to resolve the dashboard clock issue and a lagging ABS warning light but with some decent Trance now rattling the interior I'll take such additional niggles in m'stride ;)

The "K banjo" fitting ....is it like this ? coz that's an adapter too - you might have put an adapter onto an adapter like I did til I realised.

Fitted new rear silencer. Got it of 4x4 parts.co.ul as it said it was land rover brand. When it arrived it was a bosal. So not too happy about that.

Bosal make the exhaust systems for LR.
LR do not have their own factory for manufacturing exhausts, nuts & bolts, plastic trim, batteries, brakes, seats etc. etc.-they buy them in.:eek:

Fitted Synergy 2a & Pierburg MAF, waiting for pushbutton switch harness to come for it. Haven't had chance to give it blast yet. Got it set on no.7

I don't think that is correct.
If they did make the LR exhaust? the over the counter Bosal stuff is much lower quality. Iirc the factory exhaust system was made in the UK but the company went bust after Rover failed.
