fitted new rear wiper arm tool cubby hole wet thru thinkin another disaster unfoldin here then rememberd the 2 ltr bottle of cider that split wondered where it all went
 
Cleaned the sensor plug and contacts on the end of the fuel rail also cleaned the plugs and contacts on top of the injectors while i was at it.
 
Drove to work and back. 50 miles of gravel every day is fun on a TD4.

Repaired my blower switch.

1, 5min removing 2x screws
2, removed switch
3, 15min drive to mates house to solder new resistors
4, 15min drive back,
5, 5min re-screwing 2x screws repair done all working nicely.

Total repair time 40min. Cost £6.78 for new resistors from respak. Advice taken from this forum on how to do repair :):):):):):):):):):):)

Forgot to say mate took 20 min to solder so 60min in total for repair.

Replaced the break light switch again. Bl@@dy nightmare, tackled this job a few weeks ago and found I had a faulty new switch, put the old one back in and seemed to work fine until last weekend when two of the amigos started showing again.
 
Took it to work and back. Used it to jump start someones car yesterday. "use the Freelander he's got a big battery..."
 
finaly got around to fitting the bonnet/hood protector-deflector that i'd bought last summer ..
well worth it .. .. saw the modified airstream in action courtesy of some falling snow :)
looking forward to a bug-free windscreen when spring/summer arives ..
.. nice unexpected byproduct be somewhat less overall windnoise-at-speed ..
