@Nodge68, would a FL1.5's injectors and ECU be of any use for your FL2 faultfinding?
That's a labour of love. Must have spent a lot of time on it. It would never pay that back in a sale. Looks like he hasn't got round the wheel base difference. Fair play to him. He's had a go.
Thanks for the offer, but unfortunately not.
The FL2 is a completely different machine, using a PSA engine instead of a BMW unit.
In fact there is only 1 component from the FL1 used on FL2, which are the little turnbuckle hooks in the boot.
I was joking - I know the FL1 is totally different from the FL2, the former having a BMW engine the latter having a ford/PSA engine, I was playing on the ebay FL1/2 hybrid/chimera.
But Nodge - you don't really need brakes below 2000rpm...Today I received a box of goodies from my preferred LR parts supplier, so the FL2 will have some shiny new front brakes on Saturday.View attachment 224404

Treks suggest a higher class, so go with thoseThe question is....
Do I fit new tyres to Freedom 6 spoke or Trek wheels?? I have a set of both but the Freedoms are mint and the Trek require refinishing.
Views please?

Man - I'm gutted for you - that was a very unfortunate turn of events :-( - Howeer it is repairable and no one was hurt, so it's not the worst it could have been :-/hit a post box, wheels turned slightly towards kerb, set off and crunch ,you could say i just saw red.
any how i now have a bent wing and scraped bumper, had it nearly four and a half years and never scratched it.
but its only a car.
Oh yeah, I did a bit to mine, more messing with the ronbox trying to get the sweetspot of no smoke but plenty of poke
