Been a load of work but finally got it in shape. Was an old barn when I bought it, 3 walls and a leaky roof, electrics condemned. Built out of windows from ebay, doors from a local company who did a good deal and some brickwork from a local builder who was short of work in lockdown.

It is a far cry from working on the drive or in the garage which is where most of my projects were born. Very happy bunny.....

You're lucky with the amount of space you have Andy. It looks a very useful size building.
Unfortunately I'm limited to a large but end terraced plot, so I need to keep my projects to a manageable size.
 
Well todays enjoyment has been fitting the new fuel tank cradle, what a ball-ache just to refit something with 4 bolts holding it in place.

I have also ordered the replacement VCU from Bell Engineering, don't know the history of the one fitted and she has done 93k so better safe than sorry.
 
Was yesterday. I fitted and reprogrammed a replacement PTM/ECU (use as appropriate), in an attempt to eliminate it as the cause of this blasted misfire. It didn't cure the misfire when cold or under load, but the engine now runs really well off load, as I recalibrated all the sensors at the same time.
I also fitted a new tyre to the rear, so it's got perfect and matching tyres, and I adjusted the parking brake too, as the lever was too high for my liking.
 
I made a rigid trunk tray for free1 5 doors. Divided into two parts because whole does not enters. Enter the very tight.
Reinforced, it works as an emergency roof bar. lower hooks for hanging things. do you like it?

Started it up to try to identify the issue with the misfire. Unfortunately the replacement injector I'm waiting for didn't arrive, so I'm no further along than I was. I have identified that all my injectors codes stored in the ECU don't match the codes on the injectors, so tomorrow I'm going code the ECU to the numbers on the injector.

Took out my sunroof, pulled off the seal and rust coated the metal frame. Refitted the seal with silicone sealant, cleaned it all up and trimmed the rubber to get a nice snug fit. Hopefully that'll solve the leak.

I also managed to split the aerial reversing out of dad's garage as it got trapped in the garage door. Rookie!

I've got the GPS base (being an HSE model). Does anyone know if the thread on the aerial is a standard one?

Hi, I've just had a look at mine, also HSE with GPS but I can't pull the rubber sleeve up the antenna to expose that end of it (it won't unscrew either). I know the base is held to the roof with a 5mm threaded bolt or screw under the interior light, sorry.

I have an ordinary aerial mast, if it helps. I've no need for it now, as the FL1 SE has gone to a new home.
