Fitted a straight through back box

I was thinking of spraying my wheels black. They could do with a touch up and I think black wheels would look good on my fire engine.

I think they would. Red and black always goes together well. I was going to use the same coating that's on my snorkel and rear guard etc so all of the accessories match.

I was thinking of using stone chip. It looks fantastic on the spare wheel holder and smooths out minor imperfections really well. At least the Carplan one does. The hammerite stone chip isn't as good for that.

Give it a linex type finish. I'd imagine it'd look good. Rugged yet stylish.
:p

When I change my current 225/60/17 tyres for a set of 225/65/17. I'm going to spray the wheels in smart gloss black.
With over 300Nm on demand, there's more than enough torque to turn 28.5" wheels, without any problems at all.

Replaced the wiper switch and adjusted the wiper resting position, then crawled under the front to adjust the plastic bits that attach to the under tray and end up flapping around.
While there I noticed a lot of greasy black oily stuff that shouldn't be there. Looks like I'll be replacing one of the CV joint gaiters on Saturday. :(
How the heck did it pass MOT on Wednesday like that?

@Skinny.M
Any chance of a video of that running so I can see how loud it is.
be a couple of vids here of SE88's back-box on mine
be similar dimensions to Nodge's slim line job
and be a straight thru type

you'll need to monitor the audio thru some full range speakers .. or headphones
as most of the frequencies are bass ..

was recorded with a canon camera mounted on top of the passenger seat
( windows open )

there one bit going over a bridge in Otley
gives acoustic reflections from the stone wall ,,

When mine passed the other week, I got home and noticed I had 1 front light!!
But it sailed through the test.
Makes you wonder:confused:
All sorted now with a full new set:)

Well, I put the synergy back on, on Sunday, just the tuning part, not plugged the maf bit in.
And nothing, nothing all week until...... tonight, just trundelling along back from Tescos, pushed the accelerator coming
off a roundabout and Vvvvvvrrrrroooom it started working.
So I will run it about for a bit, see if it can return more than the average 37ish mpg i'm getting.
Don't know why it took so long to kick in, answers on a postcard please.

I am planning to fit footwell lights. and some other glow to it. Got armrest fitted. Not a genuine one (thats on cards anyway) but ebay own haha. Nice addition. And matches my new black interior. Yesterday was cleaning and adjustment day. Figured out why there is small amount of water in the boot. While I was adjusting tailgate glass to properly fit over seal noticed that plastic membrane is missing. With just a leftovers of glue. I have some sikaflex sealant and plastic sheet. So will glue that under rear door card. Trying to fit reversing camera but need to fing suitable spot. So if You have it fiited any help would be concidered. My last megane had it fitted in reg plate holder. so maybe in rear door handle.
Happy freelanding troops.

Door handle is probably a good idea - typically the metal behind it is very rusted out so plenty of access to run the wires though :)

Took mine down yesterday and apart one snapped bolt there is minimal amount of rust. It actually look like someone took care of reffiting rubber seal because it looked new. But cleaned it and refitted handle without hassle. either that or above rear window in the plastic trim. But i think spere wheel will obstruct view. and I do not really like to fit one of the truck ones with big metal holder.
