Changed the front left hand side drop link for the anti roll bar

Mr Angle Grinder contributed nicely

No more knocking now :)

Singvogel I noticed the nice workshop too! The things land rover dreams are made of! Nice work on the exhaust too!

Seem to have fixed my drivers door lock - it stopped unlocking on the remote the other day but locked fine ....I tried my spare remote on it this morning and it unlocked straight away... now the other remote works too - strange.

Took off the front left drive shaft. Was impressed at how easily it popped out of the g'box housing. Replaced g'box side seal ready for reassembly when I get a replacement drive flange.

It sure did! I lent over and reached down from above with two flat bladed screw drivers and hay presto...:)

On the down side I've accidentally ordered an IRD side seal [UNG100060L] and not the g'box one:( What's the difference between TRX100060L and TRX100010L:confused:

no idea mate, sorry, but i am sure one of the freelander bods will tell you.;)

Maybe something stupid...

Just bought a set of 17" 6 spoke alloys (Freedom?) from the usual tat bazaar. From what I've read on here they should fit but stay tuned for questions about spacers...

Got the following fitted:

5 new Pirelli Scorpions (went the whole hog and got the spare done)
EBC grooved discs
Green stuff pads
Also had 4 wheel alinement done.

Expensive day but drives like a new car now and the brakes will hopefully last for years.

Used a very heavy duty hydraulic press [100 tn] to push out the drive shaft from the hub assembly. New parts ordered from the old country.
