So after many lockdown weekends of work, my 90 project is nearly complete. New panels, doors, roof, side panels removed and replaced with heavy-duty hood sticks (new tan canvas and black bikini), new hinges, bolts, and washers (the right spec and sizes), re-wired (removal of meters of old, useless wires that were doing nothing), striped back, primed and spray painted in Cornflower blue (an old 2A colour so I was told)... and loads more stuff that I could list.
A few jobs left... compounding and polishing the paintwork, removing the lift (going back to stock), new wolf rims (probably white), and BFGs.
Might not be to everyone's taste, but that's the fun of these... you make them your own. Anyway, I would be interested in your thoughts, suggestions (good or bad). BTW this is the first time I have ever done a rebuild, and a driveway respray so please go gentle
The first pic is how I brought it (for just over £6k)
The second pic is what I did to tidy it up, while I decided what I wanted to do with it
The remaining pics are as it is now
