Took the 90 for a blast to Tetbury where I collected my latest purchase, a disklok, from a seller on FB marketplace. The seller was a very amiable lady whose husband had used it on his Landy a few times before he sold it. :) And I got a wave from the driver of another 90 on the drive back.

I had some galvanised sheet on the shelf so thought I'd knock up a couple of these.

Visited the guys up at Dirt Monkey Off-road this morning and got the sliders on the 110. Service was amazing and the product and fitment seems to be quality. No drilling in to the chassis required very impressed. They just make rest of the Defender look a bit tatty now :D

Nice!

today I battled with the evil that is a 1986 Ninety's under-gearbox crossmember:confused:

something that was an annoying task I could have avoided IF I'd known to fit the exhaust downpipe on the Defender 200tdi engine BEFORE slotting it into the Ninety's enginebay:mad:

done now:cool:

Rich.

changed the gearoil & filter in the LT77 box, bought a 4L can of atf2 on ebay (£20 posted because I'm lazy:p) and realised the listing was for 2 x 4L cans

the old oil was clean / red when draining the filter but a little contaminated from the gearbox with some 'fur' on the drainplug magnet:rolleyes:

the joys of an old Landeeeeeeeee:D:D:D

maybe I'll get brave enough to drain & replace the transfer box oil...

Rich.
