I bet also, it's really mounted on the chassis like an umbrellaIf it's been sat on that ground for a few winters, it'll be very corroded underneath, possibly fatally so.
I always have the Aircon on... But I'll leave the blinds open while driving for a while a open it tooIf it's not raining (like ever) open the sunroof a touch and have the heating with the blind open a touch and it'll draw any moister out or leave the blind open while driving with the aircon on. It'll help keep any damp down towards the mechanisms
I know, but a bit expensive. And I read that they have some issues when they are angled to much. Plus, I basically pulled the Zenith ones appart in the desert once, and I get them calibrated well enough to pass emission tests. Maybe one day... Propably not, but who knows! IF I do that, she will also get new cylinder heads!Ooh these are niceROVER V8 CARBURETOR 4-BARREL CONVERSION KIT INCLUDING MANIFOLD - Simmonites

It's actually one part, the carb feeds both sides of the engine. The other carbs the stromberg cd175's with the emission controls are an absolute arse especially if the little coffin shaped air adjustment has been played withI know, but a bit expensive. Well, another benefit of the Zenith ones is how easy it is to fit a snorkel to them!
Plus the butterflies have little poppets that are known to stick open giving a lean/raised idle, these are usually soldered shut!!It's actually one part, the carb feeds both sides of the engine. My heated screen does thatRemembered the 'winter wiper park position' setting, very handy to stop the wipers freezing to the screen.

Ah ok assumed it was ignition trickery. An L405 feature? So far, a well planned use of the FBH timer or remote has dealt with the ice, although if there were any unplanned journeys, I'm sure I'd manage to turn the auto wipers to off before starting the engine - the setting just changes the park position, they don't stop mid-sweep and resume from there when the car is started unless the sensor determines there's something worth wiping, they still do the 'full' wipe arc, just come up a bit to the warmer park position.
