I was expecting some corrosion around the edges, turned out to be fine, but I red leaded it just to be sure and get a clean surface to bond to.

Not done one before But I did have Wammers and you lot watching my back. Job was top notch apart from top trim due to my blacksmiths touch. Didn’t really matter as it was sealed in perfectly all the way around. No screen eggspurt could have put that much time/effort in, especially with the prep. Leaving it til mid summer made everything a lot easier.

I was planning on leaving it till May, although the crack gets bigger every day. I think the glass gets hot from the blower being on demist all the way to work and then the cold air in the yard is shocking it.
The MobiletronVR-VW010 i regulator is a fairly smart device charging at around 14.8 volts or a bit more immediately after starting in cold weather then progressively folding back to 13.8 volts or as low as 13.5 on a long run in warm weather.

Smarter than mine is. Mine just sits there at 14.5V. Same battery for the last ten years though so not doing badly.

Very true on both accounts. Water is a scary thing my friend 😵
It certainly was the first time it happened after I bought the place. Locals that used to own it going back over 100 years tell me the house has never flooded.
A couple of Photo's for your entertainment! In the second one it's just possible to see a car on the flooded road. Most of that is part of our garden.

I wonder if he's got a boat🤔🤭

Normally have the sunroof blind pulled over as it helps keep the warmth in.. it the cold out.. opened it and found a bit of condensation on the glass! Wired it dry and left it open (the blind)

If it's not raining (like ever) open the sunroof a touch and have the heating with the blind open a touch and it'll draw any moister out or leave the blind open while driving with the aircon on. It'll help keep any damp down towards the mechanisms 😊

I initially thought it'd been 'modified' to look like a prototype

Nope, it's a bodge.

It's a bit like Tom Cruise's tooth in the middle of his top row of teeth, so odd you can't see anything else....

If you can get the VIN, it may be worth sending it to the Range Rover Register to see if there's anything unusual about it.

It's on an advert here on France. I could ask I suppose 🤷
