What a PITA that L322 was. Been at every fuse box, pulled every fuse and stood around in the cold watching amps turn to milliamps. I’m happy with the 38 thanks. Bonnet stays failed, mouse eaten sound deadening and a battery that needs a booster every time to start.

Do I buy a private plate for me ‘38 or wear the current reg with pride? I quite fancy a private plate, but I’m also tight as and could spend the money on useless junk instead 🤪
I got a private plate :) :)

I got one for 21st birthday from parents, nothing earth shattering.. been thinking about transferring it or I'll lose it

Missus drove through a flooded road and "noticed a grinding noise after a few miles so stopped in case she knackered the engine". I don't know what she hit in that flood but the tyre is FUBAR'ed and I fear for the rim. That's an AT tyre too.

I got a spare one of them wheels here somewhere. Free to good home.

@kermit_rr @marjon im being lazy…I have to put the battery on this 3.6 on to charge.
Like the ‘38 is there any idiosyncrasies I.e. stand on one leg, disconnect the radiator bottom hose, let 10psi out of the spare tyre, turn ignition to position three and whistle 3 bars of the liberty bell etc I don’t want the thing immobilised as garden access for a crane is difficult, and dynamite will take the heads off my winter pansies.

If you are going to take the battery off there is the wait period before disconnecting, and cant remember anything special when reconnecting.
But I have also just charged it on the car without any issues either.

again 2011, earlier 1s with the key I dont know if any diff.

@doriz have got the L332 handbook in Rave won't let me copy it but battery instructions are
1 remove key from ignition wait 2 mins then disconnect neg terminal
2 wait further 2mins before disconnecting positive terminal as there is a pyrotechnic device to blow it off in emergencies.
3 keep key fob handy as alarm sounder me go off and you use fob to silence it
4 reconnection every thing should reset it self some sensors may need to be driven to start working again
Best of luck pal
