I could've done it that way, yes. But I got the component kit for less than £50. And the bass/mid speakers fit direct into the plastic pods.

And yes. Its the full HK system. But like I said, the po had a Sony hu and it was all hacked about behind the dash and along the loom to the dsp.

oh right i see :)

fingers crossed you get it all working ;)

Carried it on a forklift

I drove her 1 mile to the gym. Parked up, got my kit on went for an 8 mile loaded run. Came back, dumped my kit in the back , sat on the tailgate to recover, realised that it was a lie down I needed, so stretched out until I felt semi-human again. Got up, drove a mile back home and parked her up. :) Oh and she feels even better now she has new ball joints :)

If you had run a mile to the Gym, then ran the mile back home, you would have done as much good and saved a bloody fortune in fuel and monthly gym fees. :D:D

I do that when going to the gym but the route between home and the gym isn't compatible with the type of training I was doing today. With your Avatar I thought you'd understand that type of thing. :p

Oh and that would only have been two miles, whereas I stated it was an 8 miler

Could have stretched it and done a 10 miler instead of Harry's 8 miler

Not sure what Harry's 8 miler is but again I will point out that the training for today was a specific course and a specific distance.

So how far do you run when training and when was the last time you did a loaded run?

Last loaded run was week last Tuesday 6 mile 45lb 70 mins before that was the Saturday 2 miler 18 mins 37lb rifle and helmet , Harry the hat does 8 mile as opposed to an airborne 10 miler cheers

edit: Looks like someone somewhere is telling you porkies because i've just double checked with the directive for the AFT and ALL Infantry,All Arms Para/Cdo trained personnel serving in Para/Cdo units, REME (Regt Spec only), SASC and RAPTC att'd those units mentioned, do the same as everyone else distance wise. That being 12.8km, the only difference being that the aforementioned group carry 25kg, as opposed the 20kg or 15kg carried by other Arms.
