It will be by Tuesday. Going to make sure it's well dried before fitting. Looks like borrowing the oven for an hour lol :D:D

Start removing the rest tomorrow. Going to be a bit bare for a few days.

Well. First piece, the test piece, needs 2 more coats of lacquer to finish. But this is so far.
If that is the "wood" trim, it is exactly what I want to do to mine. I think piano black would contrast well with cream leather.

Sorted out the wiring under the glove box, and fitted a hawk central locking controller. I've now got fully working central locking..

Next to get the rear windows working....

got locked out brill alarm systems even the owner cannot get in and they have the cheek to say that they are insurance group 35 :D

Replaced driver door latch/motor so can finally use the blipper to open the doors and not the key! Plus gave the old beast a wax/polish seeing as the weather was nice :)

Scraped and brushed down chassis where petrol tanks is. Coated in marine rust retardant and primed. Replaced rear fuel sections as the pipes were held together by a few flakes of metal. Stared at some other jobs needing done...

So how much original metal is left on that? Must be less than 50% by now.

Steel wise there is the bonnet, tailgate (authough not on atm), the sides in the boot, all of the floor (taken out atm), the entire floor side on the passenger side, most of the drivers side floor side, the door frames, the x member and all of the rest of the bulkhead, oh and the chassis, inner sills and axles. That's about it :D

All of the ally is going back on after a respray.
