Drove it for once, found the drivers window is jumping the cogs as it gets to the top:(
and passed a L322 on the A40 at RAF Northolt going in to town he didn't look happy as it was on its bump stops, hope its not someone off here.

Ed China fixed that on the P38 Wheeler Dealer episode.
I hated that episode. They didn't really repair anything, just fit new parts. Didn't even match the headlights. I saw that vehicle on eBay a while back, still mismatched lights and the tint was pealing badly. But they price was inflated to **** because "it was on TV! OMG!"

I have lent my other P38 to my brother as he is going to the races and wanted to look like a country horse racing type . He normally drives a vauxhall so i did not want him looking like a chav lol :p

Bet he still looked like one, a hoodie and jeans round your thighs with your shredders on show is not going to get you into the members enclosure.:D:D

I don't know. Half those Eaton types will probably assume he's an escort and try to pay him for a blow.

Back onto the subject....

Got the bumper off the Vogue at last, took a bit of thumping to get to release from the chassis mounts, but after that it came off OK.

Fitted the refurbed towbar (Witter) and going to do the electrics this morning, then refit the bumper.

Scotland run tomorrow :)

Had to have the witch started by the AA again, second time in two bloody weeks. She's only sat for 7 days! Thinking it might be the headlamp wiper not docking properly. So now checking each time I park up.
The AA guy did make me feel better though when he said 'think that's bad? I went to a new Velar yesterday, 389 miles on the clock, car stuck at the side of the road with an overheating engine." He also showed me a couple of other jobs he's been to in last couple of days on a nearly new sport and an evoque with stupid little faults, that grounded both of them. His parting words were " hang on to that one as long as possible, as the newer ones are falling apart".
Looks like not trading my Golden Girl, when I was having major issues, was a good move. :D

Wish I had never given my 2.4 VM classic to my son, one of the best cars I've owned. The the bugger sold it !! Was owned by a Mr George Harrison,

Finally got round to spraying the insides of the door pillars of buttercup with dinitrol, :):)
The A pillars were done through the hole for the door light switch, the spray lance just about reaching both top and bottom, on the B pillars drilled a 10mm hole just above the hinge and plugged with the supplied blanks.
Managed to do the job without covering everything including me with nasty oily ****e :D:D
