drove it back from two week holls in norfolk with the caravan no probbs, all thought it did did try to start all by its self whilst all locked up on evening, some thing to look at?

I drove to the wrong house. I haven't lived in the old house for over 3 years now, but for some reason I zoned out driving home and wound up 20 miles in the wrong direction. Was a nice drive, I miss living in the middle of nowhere.

Finally got the AC regassed after fitting the new condenser.

Lovely & cool now.

ATS were really good and didn't charge me, even though it passed all the vacuum and pressure tests 3 weeks ago and was working when I left, after the 5 minute drive home, it all leaked out in under 10 mins.

Big thanks to ATS. :)

last night i started fitting the 19" stormer alloys to my P38.

Lots of grumbling at the random 28 and 27 mm wheel nuts (whats that about!)

Anyway it looks loads better :)

also started to refit the trim pieces around the external of the vehicle. Gave it a bit of a wash to clean off all the cobwebs :)

Might look better, but could handle like a pig on LSD. All wheel nuts should be the same size and the wheels may need spigot rings.
Still at least it looks better:rolleyes:

Mine has just been (hopefully) collected to get the towing electrics checked - assuming the guys can figure out how EKA works!

We're heading back to the UK next week and I need to tow a big trailer - I haven't used the car for about 3 years so thought it might be wise to get the electrics and a few running basics checked by the garage before I jump in and do a 1000 k's in it!

no it was the dodgy wheel nuts that were on it! I couldnt figure out how some were 27 and some were 28mm.

i fitted the proper 22.5mm wheel nuts and spigot rings at the time.

also got it off horrible A/T tyres that it has no need for and onto normal road rubber (which is where it will be used)

range rover ownership is henceforth a good day when you come out of the shops and the car starts.
