Did absolutely nothing either with, on or in the P38 today . . . . Instead stripped my Son's 125cc engine to sort out the water loss !!

Had new rad fitted, took it on a test drive. Appears to be OK. MoT Test rebooked, then I'll have about half a week of to find out if it was just the rad that popped and nothing more serious.
 
Finally got the side steps fitted and very happy with them.

took it for a drive in the tropical rain storm to collect my son much fun was had driving past broken down cars in some local flooded roads.
 
finished putting it back together to find that the fault is still there tick over is at 2700rpm cuts out after few min and oil light on when there is plenty of oil in it when i try to run it with diagnostic it wont run long enough to check live data and no faults are getting logged :confused::mad:

Unless the oil light is staying on when running or at tick over that's a problem
But if only coming on when it cuts out/stalls
That's normal :)
 
alternator took a dump on the silver one last week, just waiting for it to turn up and do that. you still have your RR ?
