Yeah I just finished the air pipes and it runs rough again :/
So when I restrict the airflow it runs a lot better ? What would cause this ?

Did you check the idle actuator?

Just unplugged the MAF and it will run without dying and rev up a lot better, still abit rough but better. Knackered MAF then ?

Search about on here for MAF adjustment, plenty of info on checking it and adjusting it
You have the CO trim wires that need to be set so the CO output is 1-1.5% and the other wires are the airflow that should rise and fall with airflow, check with multimeter
Get it rigged up to your gas analyser and see how she's burning

Righto I'll have a look around, definately a lot better with the MAF disconnected
Water is finished. Air is finished it runs and just needs tuning
Tidy up the wiring and make the front prop an rebuild the interior and it's done !!!

Props are made, cowling is made for the electric fan on the rad, just gotta put the temp sensor in line and wire all that up

Took it for a quick wizz and it's got abit of a misfire at high revs and doesn't seem to be selecting all gears or kicking down, I'll check the oil level tomorrow it may be abit high

What's the maximum allowed offset on a set of wheels for competition ?
I've attained a set of disco steels for nowt from a bloke in the village and so I might aswell have a go making some trialling wheels for it
