Part 2 tomorrow!!!

So hopefully will get this calibration sorted. The running pump is driving me mad!!

:lalala:

Unless you have a large miss match side to side on the front axle, compressor should not run excessively. Is it feeding a leak?

Thanks Wammers.

So I have got all the heights set finally. Within about a cm on each corner.

Pump seemed to be running a lot, I took lid off as per instructions to let her cool between height settings. Its obvious that the previous owner has been poking about in there. As I had to redirect the cables correctly and refit a missing bolt for the whole unit!

The pump eventuality shut up, guessing I had used a lot of air in last Recalibration. The front still does the slight dipping thing she did in Standard height. You can hear the valves click. Not nearly as much though, so the front sensor swop was a good idea. However I am guessing to stop the little front jump, I will need to buy new front sensors.

At least the heights are good now, and I can drive her again.

Will keep an eye on the pump.

Thanks for all the advice.

Well done....... Now go get me dinner ready I need you to fix the leaking pollen filter covers on mine once you've cleaned up!!!!!!!! :p:p:p

(note: this is a very tongue in cheek comment which nobody needs to take seriously or in fact even read)

Thanks Wammers.

If you were able to re-calibrate, I would leave the sensors alone for the moment. Airbags first if they have not been done.
Not sure what you mean by "the slight dipping thing"?
When you stop and let the foot brake off it will always self level the front.

Thanks Wammers.

Thanks hun. When she is standing still with engine running, she occasionally drops slightly at the front, the valve clicks and she rise back to correct height. She did it before I did all the height setting.

I will keep an eye on the pump to see if she is running alot. The airbags are good, in that she keeps her height overnight with no drop.

Still sounds as though there is a leak somewhere but it could be a sensor or the connector I suppose.

Minor update. Heights defo fine. Height maintained overnight.

Slow to rise, fast to fall. Pump running alot. Will check the "how to"!

My pump was still working well kind of. When I checked the pump output pressure was low. Stripped the pump and the piston seal was hanging. Easy enough to repair with an ebay kit. I went a bit OOT and changed the barrel as well but that's just me.

So I need to service the pump? Can someone please give me the correct link to the service kit on Ebay please?
Seem to be so many!

Thanks Rachel

Check the pump first. Easy enough to do you only need a couple of spanners and willing finger.
