Just purchased an unmolestered, well looked after p38 4.0 for bargain money, Runs sweet as a nut on lpg not a single hiccup, But when switch over to petrol, Its a little lumpy, Like a cylinder is out.. Only bought it today, Anybody point me the best way forward, If its running smooth on lpg and lumpy on petrol, It cant be the plugs or leads. ?

Many thanks people.

Can't be plugs or leads since it would run even worse on LPG that needs perfect ignition. I bet it's a single point LPG install since i have the same problem.

Thats a theory, Thanks, It may also be crap petrol, I doubt its been ran on petrol for a while, One question, If i run it on petrol for a hundred mile or so, Say if it starts to run perfect on petrol for instance, Would it be lumpy if i went back to the gas? Bit new to Lpg. Cheers.

Ran it on petrol for 10 miles or so, Running fine now.. Has been laid up a month or so.

Cheers gang.
